How to Make an Easy Bushel Handbasket Planter

Step 1

Paint your bushel basket in your desired colour. I cull black since that matched our front porch. I used a tin of black spray paint for this and did 2 coats. Bushel baskets are pretty porous and crude so they can soak upwards a lot of pigment. I did not pigment the inside since that will be unseen.

Fill the trash purse upward with soil halfway, then place in the bushel basket on top of the plastic saucer. Proceed to make full near of the way total.

Place in desired flowers. This will piece of work for total sun or shade flowers just depending on where your handbasket will be. Ours is under our front porch with by and large shade. I didn't Begonias.
